Psychological Evaluation – $300 (before insurance)
Every patient is required to have an initial psychological evaluation before receiving treatment. This process takes about 45 minutes. The provider will review medical and mental history, current and previous medications, and will assess your current state. At the end of the appointment, the provider will suggest treatment options including medication, alternative therapies, or both, and follow up appointments can be scheduled from there.
Please note that we do require a refundable $100 deposit when scheduling an initial psychological evaluation. If you do not show up or cancel within 24 hours of your appointment, the deposit becomes non-refundable.
Medication Management – $150 (before insurance)
A medication management appointment usually takes about 15 minutes. In this appointment, your provider will review your current medications, note any changes, and make adjustments accordingly. If you have needs other than medication that need to be met, your provider will refer you to the appropriate services.
If you are unable to come into the office for a medication management appointment, a phone appointment may be scheduled for a $100 fee, which is not covered by insurance.
With this service, we map your brain using a Quantitative Electroencephalogram (QEEG). We measure your brainwaves to determine which areas are abnormal and should be trained to become more normalized. Although this is not a diagnostic assessment, it can show markers of certain diagnoses and other problems within the brain. After we collect the raw data, we will analyze it against three databases and develop a treatment plan to fit your needs.
A QEEG, combined with a mental health evaluation, can provide a lot of insight into what may be causing your problems.
Additionally, you may request a stand-alone QEEG and report for baseline purposes for a reduced rate. You will receive a flash drive with your whole EDF file and a summary of results. We will review the data with you briefly, but will not give a thorough analysis or treatment options. To later add analysis and a treatment plan, requires additional payment prior to receiving the results.
A baseline QEEG can be beneficial for many clients. It can be used for comparative purposes in the case of a traumatic brain injury, concussions, aging, or peak performance analysis.
Following a QEEG, many clients will participate in Brainwave Training. This is a non-invasive way to train your brainwaves to become healthier and more normalized. In these sessions, you will sit in front of a screen and play a game or watch a video using targeted brainwave activity. When your brainwaves are within certain parameters, you advance in the game, or the screen brightens; when your brainwaves are outside of the parameters, the game stops, or the video dims. We require a 10 session commitment, at least one session a week, to determine progress. After the 10 sessions are completed, we will conduct another QEEG to compare to your baseline (original) brain map.
“The Low Energy Nuerofeedback System (LENS) is a specific kind of Neurofeedback that operates much more rapidly that traditional Neurofeedback and has qualities that make it much easier to use with people who can’t sit still. With the LENS, the client doesn’t need to ‘do’ anything, and there is nothing to learn. The typical session with the LENS lasts 3-4 minutes. This means that the LENS works well for people who either cannot or will not pay attention to a computer screen for longer time periods. Additionally, the LENS works much faster than traditional Neurofeedback with the number of sessions ranging from as few as 1 to an overall average number of sessions of 20.” from Ochs Labs website
Typically, a full round of treatment with LENS is 7 sessions, occurring once week. The first two are to develop a baseline of your brainwaves, then three treatment sessions, followed by another two session to compare your progress. At that point we can make adjustments based on how your brain responds to the treatment.
Feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or burned-out? Learn how to shift from chaos to coherence in this one-on-one coaching session. Coherence is an optimal physiological state shown to prevent and reduce stress and increase resilience. This state of coherence is measured using a pulse-rate sensor through Heart Rate Variability (HRV) – a unique window into the quality of communication between the heart and brain, which directly impacts how we think, feel, and perform. Self-regulation training that includes HRV biofeedback can improve emotional composure, reduce burnout, and boost cognitive functioning. Regular use has a carryover effect that builds and sustains resilience and improves emotional well-being. Practice one-on-one with a certified biofeedback coach and see in real-time how our thoughts and emotions impact our overall health and functioning. Following the initial session, you and your coach will work together to develop a plan that addresses your unique needs and goals.

“By introducing a complementary electromagnetic field into the body, you can reestablish healthy electromagnetic exchanges. This is why PEMFs (Pulsed ElectroMagnetic Fields) are so valuable – they stimulate all levels of the body. They are applied externally, and then fully penetrate the body, affecting individual cells and therefore tissues, organs, and complete body systems.” from FlexPulse Website
